I love long weekends. Whatever the occasion, I fully embrace it. This past weekend had every element that makes a perfect extended weekend. Saturday involved breakfast, a blog shoot and shopping with Leonie. We took a trip down 'Blood Alley' in Gastown which is supposebly haunted. No ghosts in sight, only this super cool wall that suits the alley's name perfectly ;) x Sharday

The botanical trend doesn't seem to be disappearing anytime soon and although most think it's confined to Summer days - this is not true! Darker botanical pants can be worn in Winter with warm knits and cute ankle boots. DIY pastel geo nails

My friend Harriet is pretty talented when it comes to nail art. So I asked her to show me how to do the 'geo' and in turn share this easy DIY with all of you.

You will need: 3 nail polish colours, sticky tape, nail polish remover and cotton buds (for mistakes)

1. Start by painting your nails a base colour & wait for it to dry

2. Place a piece of sticky tape over your nail, leaving only a small area of the nail showing. Paint this another colour and pull off the sticky tape when wet

3. Repeat the process with another colour and voila! Be very careful when you pull off the tape. New nail polish works the best.

Today was the perfect day to grab a juice and stroll down Brunswick St. Everybody needs a daily dose of Vitamin D! My new AM sunglasses are pretty good at blocking out the glare. These sunnies combine my two favourite features in eyewear: a square, cat-eye shape & tortoise shell. xx Sharday

Anyone who knows me will attest to the fact that I'm a little obsessed with Prince. He would defs rock this shirt (if it had some more frills on it).

Because there is only one week til his Melbourne concert, I have called this post Computer Blue in dedication to the man/symbol/rock god that is.. PRINCE!
