PFW trend report

As they say, better late than never. Here's my recap of the major trends at PFW.

The strapless column shape is back. As seen at Alexander Wang for Balenciaga and Stella McCartney. It's a gorgeous, feminine shape but I'm not sure if I'm game enough to try it yet!

Sheer black voille, tulle and mesh were popping up everywhere! This is a trend I'm super keen to adopt. Such a sexy way to reveal a little flesh ;).

Whether it be cream, pale grey or white - light hues are going to be H-U-G-E next Winter! Buy an oversized cream coat PRONTO!

Top heavy, slim bottom silhouettes were a common occurence a la Celine, Balenciaga & Chloe. If you're trying this trend, go for a large oversized coat with slim jeans or bare legs.. BRRR! x Sharday

camilla and marc AW13

I'm loving Camilla and Marc's AW13 collection featuring sharp tailoring, signature lace detailing and eclectic prints. If you've been following me for a while you would know that every season I have to buy at least one Camilla & Marc dress. I wonder which one it will be this season?! x Sharday

rainy days

Presenting my first blog shoot from Vancouver.. which should ultimately be renamed Raincouver. For the past week it has been raining (more so spitting) non-stop. But the show must go on.. and so it did. My poor boyfriend got saturated while taking these pics - luckily I was hiding under a little alcove! Let's just say Hunter Wellington boots are my best purchase to date! x Sharday p.s. the peace sign is now V for Vancouver!

CAMO

I have a feeling that this camo parka is going to help me get through Winter. It's functional, it's warm & it's my new pal! Now you have to tell me, what's going to get you through Winter? Hot chocolate, red wine, spooning? :P  xx Sharday

item i crave..

The Melbournian winter is making me crave giant scarves that keep out the cold while protecting both my ears and half my face! The two above are available at Country Road but I think they are quite 'exey' at $130+.
Why not take up knitting this winter, a few yarns only cost around $20 and it's a good chance to spend some time with your Mum or Grandma.
The second image is myself outside Bimbo's on Brunswick street. I'm wearing my favourite giant woolly scarf from Sydney, which unfortunately is starting to develop a bad case of piling. It looks like I might need to knit myself a replacement!
