I love long weekends. Whatever the occasion, I fully embrace it. This past weekend had every element that makes a perfect extended weekend. Saturday involved breakfast, a blog shoot and shopping with Leonie. We took a trip down 'Blood Alley' in Gastown which is supposebly haunted. No ghosts in sight, only this super cool wall that suits the alley's name perfectly ;) x Sharday

So you know how I was whinging about my lack of clothing options? I went on a shopping spree at Artizia! Hello staff discount!!! I bought 2 x jackets, 3 x tshirts and 1 x lace bralette. The denim jacket, tee & sporty shorts are the perfect Spring evening outfit for me. Laid back, easy & uber cool. Now that's what I'm talking about. x Sharday

I've been struggling with my wardrobe lately. Creating new looks daily that are office appropriate yet have a generous dose of fashion is a challenge. Ecspecially when the average hangbag at your work is a Celine trapeze & everyone's wearing Givenchy stilettos! I've put together some work wear inspo shots and I've compiled a Spring shopping list. THE CBB

CBB = Chic Black Blazer. Everyone needs a good CBB in their closet. As they say - when the sun comes out in Vancouver, it's the best city in the world. Sunday was an example of such. yaletown

These weekend snaps were taken in the uber luxe area of Vancouver called Yaletown. I'm loving my new Acne sweater dress, a last minute purchase before I left Australia, which has come in handy more than once.

Also, apologies for my schizophrenic dressing - it seems one post I'm in a sheer dress and the next I'm all rugged up freezing my butt off. The thing is, it's about to get a whole lot more crazy as I'm FLYING BACK TO AUSTRALIA TOMORROW. My best friend's getting married and I'm super proud to be the maid of honour. rainy days

Presenting my first blog shoot from Vancouver.. which should ultimately be renamed Raincouver. For the past week it has been raining (more so spitting) non-stop. But the show must go on.. and so it did. My poor boyfriend got saturated while taking these pics - luckily I was hiding under a little alcove! VANCITY

I have been loving my time in Vancouver so far. Although it's pretty damn chilly, I have been keeping warm by sipping Thomas Haas' uber hot chocolates, ice skating (see how I accessorised my beanie to the skates.. so clever :P ) and also taking strolls around the park. I was also offered a retail job yesterday at an amazing boutique called Aritzia. They stock Marc Jacobs, J Brand, Current/Elliot etc and the list goes on. Can't wait to start next week xx Sharday

the next adventure

There is a reason for my poor blogging skills these past few weeks. My man & I are packing up our entire lives are moving to Vancouver, Canada today! He has been offered an amazing job & I'll be going along for the ride.. blogging all the way. Can't wait to share this exciting adventure with you all x Sharday
