prisma vs. pashli

Alexander Wang Prisma Lunch Bag vs 3.1 Phillip Lim Mini Pashli Two Tone

Help me people! I can't decide between these two STUNNING bags. I wanted to treat myself to a little *congratulations on the new job* bag, but I'm having a hard time deciding. I must say I'm leaning slightly towards the Wang Prisma Lunchbag, just because it can be worn so many ways and it's practical for work.

Thoughts?

transparent

I'm kinda obsessed with all things silver and transparent right now. Maybe because it's so pure and simplistic.. 100% chic! xx Sharday

PHILO v MARGIELA

How sweet are these tee's? The Margiela one is definitely on my must-have list. They are currently sold out so I'll have to wait patiently until these come back in stock - available at Les Plus Dores.

to clog or not to clog, that is the question..

I must say I have been on the anti-clog bandwagon lately, but after coming across these Zara beauties I may have changed my mind. I like that they aren't exact replicate's of the Chanel clogs, they have their own 'Dutch preppy' appeal. Yes they aren't super attractive from all angles, but they are SO comfortable it is insane. They made me tower over everyone at the store plus they make my legs look long.. double win!

So is it a yay or nay? To clog, or not to clog??

my latest purchases..

I've been meaning to post these pictures for a while. I bought this Mimco bag when I was in Sydney. It's a downsize from my last handbag (which means less junk) but I love the square studs and slouchy effect. It also changes from a shoulder bag to a side bag with a few snaps.

I received this necklace as a gift for my twenty-first. It's almost an anti-traditional pearl necklace done in heavy silver. I've already received many compliments when wearing, including just today by the bank teller! I'm sure I'll be getting a lot of use out of this 'bebe' for many years to come.

shopping failure..

I felt slightly like Kate Moss, sans Yves Saint Laurent garb, today on a solo shopping excursion. I decided on my day off to indulgence myself in a bit of self-medicated retail therapy. Who knew it would all go downhill? I headed off to Melbourne Central as they have a wide array of all the regular brands.
This is where my disappointment began. Witchery is copying the Balmain denim embellished jacket. Sportsgirl is overdoing the Chanel chain bag imitations. Lastly, every store has it's windows plastered with SALE signs which makes telling them apart a difficult job.
When I did find something I liked, the store lacked my size
(dress 8 & pants 9, not too much out of the norm!).
Blazer's seem to feature in every store, which I think is a positive step in improving the general aesthetic of the mass fashion-loving population.
So all I can do is SIGH and hope that when I venture to Sydney next week, I'll have better luck.
