blood alley

I love long weekends. Whatever the occasion, I fully embrace it. This past weekend had every element that makes a perfect extended weekend. Saturday involved breakfast, a blog shoot and shopping with Leonie. We took a trip down 'Blood Alley' in Gastown which is supposebly haunted. No ghosts in sight, only this super cool wall that suits the alley's name perfectly ;) x Sharday

I've been struggling with my wardrobe lately. Creating new looks daily that are office appropriate yet have a generous dose of fashion is a challenge. Ecspecially when the average hangbag at your work is a Celine trapeze & everyone's wearing Givenchy stilettos! I've put together some work wear inspo shots and I've compiled a Spring shopping list. This has been my go-to outfit lately for zipping about town while looking a tad chic. Braveheart meets sporty luxe ;). I got the idea while admiring Margaret & Natascha's 90s grunge girl looks from NYFW & PFW. I just had to replicate this trend and now stealing shirts from my boyfriend and wearing them as a belt is my new favourite past time. x Sharday

Help me people! I can't decide between these two STUNNING bags. I wanted to treat myself to a little *congratulations on the new job* bag, but I'm having a hard time deciding. I must say I'm leaning slightly towards the Wang Prisma Lunchbag, just because it can be worn so many ways and it's practical for work.

fresh start

Exciting things are happening in the world of Shardette. This is my first week as an Associate Buyer at Aritzia, which was so hard to keep secret from you all. I am uber lucky to be in such an amazing company and super thrilled to begin my career. I'll be working on the Babaton brand which is aimed at sophisticated, young female professionals i.e. people like me! Prepare to see a lot more Aritzia in my wardrobe ;) x Sharday
