So you know how I was whinging about my lack of clothing options? I went on a shopping spree at Artizia! Hello staff discount!!! I bought 2 x jackets, 3 x tshirts and 1 x lace bralette. The denim jacket, tee & sporty shorts are the perfect Spring evening outfit for me. Laid back, easy & uber cool. Now that's what I'm talking about. x Sharday

This has been my go-to outfit lately for zipping about town while looking a tad chic. Braveheart meets sporty luxe ;). I got the idea while admiring Margaret & Natascha's 90s grunge girl looks from NYFW & PFW. I just had to replicate this trend and now stealing shirts from my boyfriend and wearing them as a belt is my new favourite past time. x Sharday

Exciting things are happening in the world of Shardette. This is my first week as an Associate Buyer at Aritzia, which was so hard to keep secret from you all. I am uber lucky to be in such an amazing company and super thrilled to begin my career. I'll be working on the Babaton brand which is aimed at sophisticated, young female professionals i.e. people like me! Prepare to see a lot more Aritzia in my wardrobe ;) x Sharday

Spring has sprung in the Northern Hemisphere. Time to ditch the head-to-toe black (*yes I'm guilty of this one*) and add a little pop of colour a la J Brand's crazy Hydrangea printed jeans. For me, this is the perfect way to wear colour without going too far out of my comfort zone x Sharday

As they say - when the sun comes out in Vancouver, it's the best city in the world. Sunday was an example of such. Wow what a whirlwind trip! It all started with a 20+ hr journey to Melbourne for my best friends wedding and 10 days with my fam. Then back on the 16hr flight to LA to enjoy 2 nights with Gabby (my LA woman). We had such a great time eating at LA's best restaurants: Urth Caffe for breakfast, lunch at the Ivy and dinner at Izakaya.. hello big fat food belly! The non-alcoholic and healthy detox starts today ;). x Sharday

These weekend snaps were taken in the uber luxe area of Vancouver called Yaletown. I'm loving my new Acne sweater dress, a last minute purchase before I left Australia, which has come in handy more than once.
Also, apologies for my schizophrenic dressing - it seems one post I'm in a sheer dress and the next I'm all rugged up freezing my butt off. The thing is, it's about to get a whole lot more crazy as I'm FLYING BACK TO AUSTRALIA TOMORROW. My best friend's getting married and I'm super proud to be the maid of honour. Presenting my first blog shoot from Vancouver.. which should ultimately be renamed Raincouver. For the past week it has been raining (more so spitting) non-stop. But the show must go on.. and so it did. My poor boyfriend got saturated while taking these pics - luckily I was hiding under a little alcove! Here's a simple outfit I wore to dinner in the city the other night. Loving these waxed RES jeans paired with a white shirt and statement necklace. I received the necklace as a Xmas pressie from my sis and although it's something I probably wouldn't buy myself, I'm loving it tucked under my collar.

2012.. what a blast! I had such a great year - spending time with my best friends, travelling to Thailand, Israel & China and in general, loving life. As for my blog, I got to attend some amazing events, met some lovely new friends and collaborated with many of my favourite brands and photographers. 2013 is going to be even bigger and better.. I have a big announcement to make in a week or two that could involve me moving to another part of the globe - stay tuned! And a happy new year to you all!
