You know those purchases that are totally unnecessary but are still completely justified. The "I'll return it if I change my mind when I get home". This coat is one of those. Not that it was expensive.. I just have a second wardobe full of 10+ coats. But this one.. it's THE one! Loving the furry plaid check print. Here's to 'those' purchases.. check mate. x Sharday

Things have started to get a little chilly in Vancouver. Which means it's time to bring out the sweaters, skivvy's, beanies and gloves. This is the sweater/jumper I'll be wearing all Winter long. Relaxed turtle neck, slouchy fit and long enough to keep your butt warm ;). It's just perfect!

I’m a firm believer that a woman’s choice in jewellery says so much about her. Whether it’s a statement cocktail ring or a minimalist bracelet – her choice reveals her lifestyle, her aesthetic, her history and also her mood. Truly.. it is the essence of her.
Personally, I’m drawn to simple yet strong pieces that will match whatever mood I’m feeling that day. Usually it’s my man style watch, delicate silver rings or this stunning PANDORA charm bracelet.
PANDORA has ingeniously created the ESSENCE collection that allows women to completely customise their aesthetic and express their mood through charms representing values such as joy, hope, love, balance, compassion and health. I selected honesty, loyalty and strength.. which tend to be characteristics I admire in women. Here’s to women expressing the essence of who they are ;) x Sharday
Welcome to Fall - my favourite season of the year. When the leaves turn into fiery shades of of red, auburn and yellow. When you can start wearing cozy sweaters, booties and coats - all in one outfit. When it's all about the Pumpkin Pie (or PSL). Ahhh Fall! I'm in love!
Happy Thanksgiving to my North American friends. I have so many things to be thankful for. An amazing partner, a supportive family, incredible experiences spent abroad with new friends and also this mighty fine leopard coat ;). It's all about being thankful x Sharday
Once. Twice. Three times a trend. I've seen these Acne booties on a few fashion forward ladies at work and this may be a little premature but it should be announced as the 'BOOT OF THE SEASON' :O! There's something about the quirky shape, englarged zippers and managable heel height. It's like Prince and Acne had a baby and her name is Marlie. x Sharday
Baby blue ripped jeans.. oh how I love thee. I love them so much that I wore my last ones to death! So when it was time to renew my go-to jeans, I decide to go hard or go home! More rips, more splattered paint and a tighter fit. Style Nanda has come to the rescue again.
For the final installment of my seasonal transition guide, I would like to introduce an item stolen from my boyfriends wardrobe: the checked shirt. Again, another perfect item when the weather is sporadic. Tie it around your waist when it's warm, wear it over a tee when it's cold. Plus - the 90s style wrapped around the waist gives off a Tai from Clueless vibe = A+! x Sharday

Welcome to part 2 of my season transitioning guide. This vest is such a perfect item to add to any seasonally challenged outfit. It adds a touch of warmth and refines any look. Method: Pair a structured vest with cute shorts/skorts, a print tee and ankle booties. C'est parfait and you're ready to go! x Sharday

It's that time of year when everything gets a little cooler. Or for my friends down under - things are warming up. Either way, it's time to transition your wardrobes!
I've tried to put a few outfits together that will make the transition as easy as possible. Essentials? Booties, leather shorts and a linen tee. This outfit is perfect for any mid-season moment. Done & dusted. x Sharday

For us Northern Hemispherians (is that even a word?), Winter is coming. I've got my plan of attack all sorted: 'Stock up' and 'Dust off'. 'Stock up' on a new winter coat, warm pants, boots x 2 and winter accessories. 'Dust off' my existing Winter clothes and boots. So while I was in the 'Dust off' phase I came across something obscure. My Hunter boots, which weren't in use for a good 5 months, had this strange white film all over them. A little Google search later explained it as 'blooming', a proccess caused due to the natural state of the rubber. So for all you clueless Hunter girls out there - heres how to get your boots looking spick and span.
My reaction: what the heck is going on here!? This strange film can't be removed with simple soapy water and Google reccomended buying some kind of professional rubber restorer. Now you have to know, I'm an instant fix kind of girl. I could not be bothered waiting 2 weeks for some rubber cleaner to arrive. But there's an alternative!
You will need: olive oil & a rag cloth. Drizzle a little oil on your cloth and get cleanin'! Circular motions will do the trick. White stuff be gone!
WOWSERS! Compare the difference! Pay attention to the buckle and Hunter logo and make sure you don't miss any spots.
Voila! Check out your boots - they look brand new. And the total cost of this clean = 50c. Yay! More money to spend of Fall/Winter clothes. x Sharday

Introducing my new loves: New Balance 574 'High Roller's'. These are the perfect shoe. Super street, a little ugly, uber comfy and saaaaah on trend *wink wink fashionista face*. Now I'm contemplating buying them in every colour imaginable. But then again - what's better than black & white?
What do you think? Love? Or loathe? (It's okay - it's an acquired taste) x Sharday

Definition: typically unfeminine, bulky, undainty shoe. Some would say f!@king ugly. I say cool as f!@K.
Next up in the fugly shoe game is the retro New Balance sneaker. Ok I'm not going to lie, I've had my eye on these for about 5 months now, just waiting for the right colour combo to become available at my local store. This week, the moons must have aligned as I found some black ones (mens size) at Little Burgundy. The guy was such a little cutie and gave me a discount because it was my friend's birthday. I told you the moons aligned! So to sum it up.. these shoes are a wee bit on the ugly side but who cares? They're cool as f!@k. x Sharday
