oh what a night

"Darkness falls across the land, the midnight hour is close at hand.

Creatures crawl in search of blood, to terrorise your neighborhood"

Last night was down right fun. There's nothing better than dressing up, getting into to character and dancing the night away with your friends. As you can see my Emme & I went as Skele-sisters. The Zombie Boy inspired makeup took a good 1.5hrs to do but definately worth it! xx Sharday

halloween: what to wear

Halloween makeup and accessories are a necessity.  They can turn a simple cape ensemble into a mesmerising Saint Laurent witch get up! I've got a Halloween party this Saturday night and I can't wait to show you the creature/thing/persona I will be turning into! xx Sharday

halloween inspiration #2

Clockwise from top left  /  The Royal Tenenbaums (RT) /  Ol Doinyo  /  RT  /  RT  /  Gemma Booth

Time for some more Halloween inspiration (#1 is here), this time it's Wes Anderson's classic movie 'The Royal Tenenbaums'. There's a plethora of characters to copy from this film but Margot is my fav <3. All I need is a blonde wig, fur coat and panda eyes.

As you may have noticed I favour the kooky and spooky style of Halloween costumes. You didn't think I was going to post bunny rabbit and naughty maid costumes right? :P  xx Sharday

coco avant chanel..

Last night I went and saw Coco Avant Chanel at the cinemas and I must say I was mesmerised during the entire film. Gabrielle's clothing in the beginning was quite bland (due to her financial situation) but I love how she altered her clothes keep up with her richer counterparts. It also hit me how much of an outsider (fashion-wise) she was, when you see other women of that time donning feathers, decadent laces and over to top pearls and diamonds. Here are some my favourite images from the film.
