PFW trend report

As they say, better late than never. Here's my recap of the major trends at PFW.

The strapless column shape is back. As seen at Alexander Wang for Balenciaga and Stella McCartney. It's a gorgeous, feminine shape but I'm not sure if I'm game enough to try it yet!

Sheer black voille, tulle and mesh were popping up everywhere! This is a trend I'm super keen to adopt. Such a sexy way to reveal a little flesh ;).

Whether it be cream, pale grey or white - light hues are going to be H-U-G-E next Winter! Buy an oversized cream coat PRONTO!

Top heavy, slim bottom silhouettes were a common occurence a la Celine, Balenciaga & Chloe. If you're trying this trend, go for a large oversized coat with slim jeans or bare legs.. BRRR! x Sharday

the next adventure

There is a reason for my poor blogging skills these past few weeks. My man & I are packing up our entire lives are moving to Vancouver, Canada today! He has been offered an amazing job & I'll be going along for the ride.. blogging all the way. Can't wait to share this exciting adventure with you all x Sharday

shanghai travel diary

I had such a great trip to China (and Shanghai in particular) that I can't wait to go back! Everything is just so cool, crazy, excessive and chic in Shanghai that I could totally imagine myself living there. Some of the highlights were the Yuyuan gardens, drinks at The Pennisula rooftop bar, soup dumplings, The French Concession and exploring the shops at Plaza 66 (a la Celine, Chanel, Maison LV). xx Sharday

my top 5 jackets of the mo..

In no particular order, here's to my top five jackets of the moment:

1. Celine's leather bikie-chic jacket at £3,040. I love the sewed lines and the typical 80s, triangle shaped flap coming off the zip.

2. Mochino's tassel-tastic felt jacket at £1,034. How theatrical! Can you imagine the movement this bebe would create?

3. Sonia Rykiel's Mongolian trimmed wool jacket at £1,270. I could fight off the slightest sign of winter with this wool wonderland (..of a jacket). I love the abstract fur collar!

4. Calvin Klein's leather/boucle jacket at £1,865. Talk about 80s revival. Loving the sharp shoulder's a la Balmain.

5. Lastly Alexander Wangs denim and leather 90s comeback jacket at £618. I'm pretty sure I'd be the baddest kid on the block in this bad boy. Just beat it! RIP MJ.
