Last weekend, my man and I headed down to Black Rock which is about 20kms out of Melbourne. Although we couldnt find said rock, we had fun getting lost in the catherdral-like sand stone walls. I'm so glad I moved closer to the beach, I'm sure a lot of time will be spent there over the next few month! Hope you have a great weekend xx Sharday

Took a lovely stroll alongside the river yesterday with my home girl Gabby. It was a good chance to test drive my new stiletto's. You may have noticed I've been a bit slow on the uptake of the pointy heel. Well I'm on the bandwagon now but must admit they are alot harder to walk in than wedges!

I wore this little ensemble to the Mimco Blogger Breakfast the other morning. As it started at 8am (& I was travelling on public transport) I needed something super warm yet super cool. I'm not usually a skirt kinda girl. But theres something cute and girly about skirts that I should probably embrace more often. Plus skirts look lovely with cropped denim jackets like this one from my work. KAWAII!

One of my favourite weekend haunts has got to be the Abbotsford Convent in Collingwood. You can take your pooches for a walk, check out the goats and have a mean meal at Lentil As Anything. Highly recommended for all those Melbournian’s who haven’t tried it yet!

I am seriously in love with this lilac Angora sweater from my work.
It's such a beautiful shade of purple, feels like a cloud & reminds me of a 1950s Susie Homemaker.
If I was Betty Draper in Mad Man, I would definately wear this all day, sipping gin etc etc.

My aim with this outfit post was to wear the most amount of colour, in the most tasteful way possible.
Being a true Melbournian means that most of my wardrobe is greyscale. And to be truthful.. it was a bit of a challenge, but I hope you like the final result.. flower power!
